As part of our continued drive to put People First at Challenger, we are working hard on our internal communication with our Staff and Drivers. Everyone wants and needs communication and we certainly understand and respect that. We currently use many different methods of communication including Social Media, Newsletters, Blogs, Driver Portals as well as posters and TV Screens positioned in various places in our terminals yet we continually hear that people want more communication. My questions is: what mediums are we missing or not pursuing to full capacity? Communication is two way and in order for us to communicate more effectively we need your feedback on what is working and more importantly what is not working to its potential.

Recently I have been doing some research and training on communications and the various mediums that different demographics prefer to use to obtain information and I believe we are covering all the bases but I also know we can improve on what we are doing.

If you have any ideas or suggestions I would sure like to hear what you have to say. Our people have spoken and we are listening and want to provide the communication in the most effective ways possible.

Happy Canada Day.
