Challenger Motor Freight has several in-depth training programs aimed at improving driver knowledge, safety and efficiency. We offer something for everyone - from new drivers just starting out to seasoned professionals interested in refreshing their skills.

Intermediate Training Program’

Our 1-4 week Intermediate training program is designed to improve the skills and knowledge of drivers who meet the criteria of the Entry-Level program, have graduated from an accredited school and have some driving experience. Driver Simulator

To augment the training programs and provide a safe, controlled environment for drivers to improve their skills, Challenger offers a Full Motion Truck Simulator to evaluate and train driver skills. For more information of the simulator, please visit the Driver Simulator page.

Entry-Level & Apprentice Programs

Based out of our Montreal and Cambridge Terminals, the 6–8 week Entry-Level training program focuses on increasing the driving knowledge and skill sets of new graduates (affiliated training schools only*).  This is a highly competitive program.  To be eligible for admission to this program, you must:

• Have graduated from an affiliated training school*
• Have good previous work history
• Be able to fulfill the physical demands of the job
• Perform an above average road evaluation
• Possess a clear Driver’s Abstract
• Possess a clear Criminal Record Search (FAST eligible)
• Have a positive attitude
