Challenger Motor Freight Inc. offers one of the best remuneration packages in the industry to its drivers. Listed on this page is a synopsis of our rates. For more information, please consult the Challenger Motor Freight Recruiting Department.

Company Driver Rates

VAN DIVISION
Single Company Driver

• $ .37 per mile greater than 1 yr experience
  ($ .335 per mile with less than 1 yr. experience
  for first 90 days of employment)
• $ .03 premium for eastern seaboard. (NY, PA, NJ, MD, DE, DC, MA, ME, VT, NH, CT)
• $30.00 paid for 1st pick up or drop (Full load or multi drop)
• $35.00 paid for 2nd pick-up or drop
• $40.00 paid for 3rd and subsequent pickups & drops
• Delay Time at customer paid hourly after 2hrs
• $15.00 paid for each border crossing
• Border Delays - NON FAST LOADS – hourly rate of $16.75 is paid after 2hrs waiting time
• FAST LOADS – No compensation paid unless CMF has been compensated by customer

Team Company Driver

• $ 0.475 per mile (split with partner) More than
  1 yr. experience ($0.44 per mile with less than
  1 yr. experience for first 90 days of employment)
• $ .02 (split) per mile bonus for running 10,000 miles in 2 week period
• Drops, pick-ups and border crossings are paid the same as singles and are split between you and your partner

SPECIAL COMMODITIES DIVISION (FLATBED)
Company Driver

• $ 0.40 more than 1 yr. experience
• $ .03 premium for eastern seaboard (NY, PA, NJ, MD, DE, DC, MA, ME, VT, NH, CT)
• $40.00 paid for 1st pick up or drop (Full load or multi drop)
• $45.00 paid for 2nd pick-up or drop
• $50.00 paid for 3rd and subsequent pickups & drops
• $20.00 paid for trailer switches
• $40.00 for loads requiring tarps
• Delay Time at customer paid hourly after 2hrs
• $15.00 paid for each border crossing
• Border Delays - NON FAST LOADS – hourly rate of $16.75 paid after 2hrs waiting time.
• FAST LOADS – No compensation paid unless CMF has been compensated by customer
