Fuel Island Foreman - Day Shift

Purpose:

The Fuel Island / Wash Bay Foreman will work closely with our entry level Attendants both in the Fuel & Inspection Station and Wash Bay to train and develop their skills in order to maximize productivity in their current roles and to increase their knowledge and potential for future Apprenticeship positions. This role will work closely with our Service Writer and Repair Shop Foremen to ensure work is being done in a timely manner and resources are being properly allocated. This position will be responsible to oversee the Day and Afternoon shift in the Fuel Island and the Wash Bay (8-10 Associates).

Duties Include:

• Supervise, Lead and Train Associates to maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Prioritize work loads and delegate repairs to the appropriate personnel
• Maintain a high level of shift productivity and ensure compliance with company policies
• Open and close work orders after reviewing
• Provide prompt, polite communication to all parties
• Constantly review work processes and provide suggestions for improvement
• Perform annual and ‘new hire’ performance reviews to Associates
• Perform visual inspections, preventative maintenance and minor repairs on fleet
• Related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Grade 12 graduate preferred, computer literate
• 310T Licensed is required
• Previous Leadership experience or training is preferred
• Ability to deliver effective supervision
• Must be a good team player
• Self motivated and ability to create a motivated environment
• Creative and effectively solve problems
• Ability to lead and be action oriented

Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30am to 7:00pm
