Effectively trace and coordinate loads moving with Challenger partner carriers for key customers to ensure high quality of service and pro-active problem solving.


Duties Include:

  • –  Monitor freight moving with third party carriers and update status of shipment in the computer database
  • –  Communicate with partner carrier drivers by providing dispatch information and answer load related questions
  • –  Advise Customer Service promptly of any impending service failures
  • –  Entering  and updating customer orders
  • –  Maintain files containing up to date ICC and insurance certificates for partner carriers
  • –  Order adjust load information in computer (bill of lading #, pcs and weight) as received by phone or POD
  • –  Assist with forming relationships with quality carriers who will assist Challenger in moving customer freight within the guidelines set out by Challenger
  • –  Assist with assessing the market and the traffic lanes serviced by partner carriers to determine availability of equipment
  • –  Filing and other administrative duties



  • –  One year transportation related experience considered an asset
  • –  Effective geographical knowledge of Canada and the U.S.A.
  • –  Minimum of a high school diploma required
  • –  Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)             
  • –  Ability to work on your own as well as a team player
  • –  Strong attention to detail
  • –  Good analytical and problem solving techniques
  • –  Working knowledge of MS Office and ICC computer programs
  • –  Take the initiative to become more involved in the department



  • Monday to Friday: 8:00 am to 5:00pm
